Ingredients

  • 2 bottles dry white wine
  • 4 ripe white peaches
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup peach schnapps
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Fresh mint sprigs
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. Prepare the fruit. Slice the white peaches, orange, and lemon into delicate, thin pieces.
  2. Build the sangria. Place the sliced fruit into a large pitcher. Pour in the white wine, peach schnapps, and simple syrup, allowing the fruit to begin infusing the wine with its bright, summery flavour.
  3. Stir gently. Use a wooden spoon to give everything a soft stir, just enough to combine.
  4. Allow the flavours to mingle. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for 2–4 hours, letting the fruit slowly release its juices into the wine.
  5. Add a touch of sparkle. Just before serving, pour in the club soda and give the sangria a single gentle stir to keep it light and refreshing
  6. Serve. Fill wine glasses with ice, then pour the sangria over the top.
  7. Finish beautifully. Garnish each glass with fresh mint and a few pieces of fruit from the pitcher, creating a bright, elegant finish.

Notes

Store any leftover sangria covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. The fruit will continue to infuse the wine, though it may soften if left much longer. For the freshest sparkle, add the club soda just before serving, ensuring each glass remains light, lively, and beautifully refreshing.
