Ingredients

For the Punch
  • 2 quarts Lime Sherbet Creamy citrusy, and wonderfully nostalgic—the ingredient that gives this punch its signature softness and vibrant character. For a slightly softer citrus profile, lemon sorbet makes a lovely alternative.
  • 1 cup Fresh Lime Juice Freshly squeezed is always worth the extra moment bringing a clean, lively brightness that keeps every sip beautifully balanced.
  • 6 cups Pineapple Juice Sweet tropical, and sun-soaked, adding warmth and roundness to the sharper lime notes. Orange or mango juice also work beautifully for a different twist.
  • 4 cups Ginger Ale or your favourite lemon-lime soda The sparkling finish—light effervescent, and essential for that irresistible fizz.
For an Evening Twist (optional)
  • 25 –40ml Flavoured Vodka or Rum per glass Coconut pineapple, or citrus-infused spirits add a wonderfully indulgent grown-up note, perfect as the afternoon slips into evening.
For Finishing Touches
  • Fresh Lime Wheels Floating across the surface or perched delicately on each glass for an extra burst of citrus charm.
  • Fresh Mint Sprigs Cool fragrant, and effortlessly elegant—the final flourish that makes every glass feel thoughtfully poured.

Equipment

  • A large glass punch bowl or generously sized serving pitcher Something beautiful enough to take pride of place on the table. Clear glass works especially well, allowing the soft citrus hues, floating lime wheels, fresh mint, and clouds of Lime Sherbet Punch to become part of the occasion itself.

Method

  1. In a large glass punch bowl or serving pitcher, combine generous scoops of Lime Sherbet with freshly squeezed lime juice, allowing the sherbet to soften slightly into a smooth, creamy citrus base.
  2. Slowly pour in the chilled Pineapple Juice, stirring gently until the flavours come together in one beautifully silky mixture.
  3. Just before serving, add the chilled Ginger Ale, pouring slowly to preserve every lively bubble and give the punch its signature sparkle.
  4. Ladle immediately into ice-filled glasses, finishing each serve with fresh lime wheels and a sprig of mint for an effortlessly elegant flourish.
  5. For a smaller, single-glass version, simply add a scoop or two of sherbet to a tall glass, pour over a splash of pineapple and fresh lime, then finish with chilled soda for the perfect individual serve.

Notes

For an evening pour with a little extra indulgence, add a discreet splash of coconut Rum—it brings a soft tropical warmth that pairs beautifully with the bright citrus and creamy sherbet, transforming this punch into something made for golden-hour gatherings and long summer evenings.
